Atel Hotel Lasserhof - Salzburg

The entire stay was most pleasant, room was very comfortable. Good breakfast. Very close to the train station.

Walking into Salzberg was a bit far.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the rooms had character, the location was quiet but that may be due to the rail underpass being closed for construction so less traffic. Close to the Salzburg train station, approx a 5 minute walk and only a 10 minute walk to the Mirabell Schloss and 15 minutes to the old city.

The lift is tiny, if you have a large pram or large luggage it won't fit and you will have to carry it up the stairs.

Ideal for couples looking for a cozy stay

The front desk staff was kind,. The hotel offered luggage storage which was great while we explored the area.

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but we managed to make it work.

For the price, the staff and computer availability were excellent as was the location. The room was small but adequate for a single, and the bathroom was perfect (if small). The room was hot due to the weather; there is no air conditioning and when I asked for a fan, I was told there weren't any available in the hotel. This could be a problem in the summer months. Otherwise, the stay was a great experience.

Comfortable common areas.

To top it off, the bedding was stained and had rips. The cleanliness of the shower was appalling, and the bath mat was torn and disgusting. Breakfast was a disaster with items routinely running out, and when we requested hot water, we were flat out denied.

The room and particularly the bathroom were great-very spacious. The breakfast was good and the proximity to the Rail Station an added bonus

This is the second time I stay at this hotel and again, my ratings for everything are perfect. This hotel is so convenient since it is about three blocks from the train station and about four blocks from Mirabel and the city center. The BUS stop is on the corner of the hotel and it takes you right to the city center - 5 minute ride.

The young lady at the front desk went out of her way to find out all she could about the parking arrangements at the public parking garage in the vicinity. Above and beyond the call as far as I'm concerned.

Rooms were just a tad small. Not too small for the price I suppose, but having a third person in the room for a quick snack was neigh on impossible.

Had a blast with my friends! The hotel was a short walk from Mirabell Garden and Mozart's birthplace. It's cozy and family-run, giving it that nice touch. We enjoyed the breakfast, and exploring the area was easy. Just be sure to manage your expectations for staff availability during busy times.

One downside was the wait time at reception. Sometimes there was no one around, a bit frustrating.

Convenient location in city center, friendly and helpful staff, and clean rooms.

Marvellous and decent location with parking onsite. Set close to a train station.

Location was great, near to the train station but far enough to have a quiet stay. Very close to Mirabel gardens and the departure point to the sound of music tour. Great buffet breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Will stay there again.
